Yoga is an ancient practice, whose important texts are found in the Hindu, Buddhist and Jain traditions. It is a term in ancient Indian texts with many definitions. Yoga has traditionally referred to both a school of philosophy and many paths for an individual’s soteriological and spiritual practice.
